
Tuna Alfredo Over Linguini

Ingredients:

1 single serve packet/can of tuna

1 can of peas (drained)

1 box of linguine noodles
-
15 oz. jar of Alfredo sauce
Utensils:

can opener
-
small stock pot
-
strainer
-
rubber or wooden spoon
-
measuring spoons

Directions

Fill small stock pot halfway with water and sprinkle in one tablespoon of salt

Bring pot to a boil on high heat (near the highest setting), add half of the pasta to the pot

Cook for 8-10 minutes or follow recommended cooking time on back of pasta box

Cook to al dente or desired consistency and drain pot contents into a strainer

Switch to your sauté/frying pan and add two tablespoons of oil, above medium heat

Open the packet of tuna and can of peas (you will need a can opener for this). Drain both as necessary and pour into the pan. Proceed to sauté ingredients, stirring occasionally until heated thoroughly

Pour the pasta and alfredo sauce (desired amount, adding if necessary) into the tuna and pea mixture

Mix with your stirring utensil until ingredients are thoroughly mixed

Put on low heat and allow mixture to simmer while covered for a few minutes

Add your preference of seasonings and serve
