Chicken Alfredo with Linguine

Ingredients:

  • 1 box uncooked linguine

  • 2 thawed boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 (16 ounce) jar Alfredo sauce

  • 1 package frozen broccoli florets

  • 1/3 cup milk

Utensils:

  • cutting board

  • frying pan 

  • spatula

  • measuring cups

  • large pot

  • colander

Directions:

​1.  Wash thawed boneless chicken breasts in the sink with water
2.  Cut away any excess fat on the chicken breasts
3.  Cut the chicken into medium sized cubes
4.  Add the chicken cubes into a large saucepan
5.  Cook the chicken cubes until they are a white color on medium heat
6.  Measure a 1/3 cup of milk
7.  Combine the milk, jar of alfredo sauce, and frozen broccoli florets with the cooked chicken in the large saucepan
8.  Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally with the large stirring spoon until heated through.
9.  Fill a large pot halfway with water
10.  Place the pot on the burner and cover
11.  Turn the burner to high and bring the water to a boil
12.  Add the box of linguine pasta into the pot, once the water has reached a boil. Cook for 7 minutes or until soft
13.  Drain the hot water into the sink using the colander

14.  Serve chicken warm over the linguine
