
Baked Pork Chops with Green Beans & Quinoa

Ingredients:

5 boneless pork chops, 1 inch thick

4 tablespoons of olive oil

garlic powder
-
onion powder
-
salt & pepper
-
2 cups of quinoa
-
fresh green beans
-
3 cups of water
Utensils:

frying pan
-
plastic Ziploc bag
-
tongs
-
glass baking dish
-
medium pot


Directions:
Pork Chops
1. Preheat oven to 400 F, lightly grease baking dish with olive oil
2. Place pork chops in a plastic bag, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and seasoning
3. Close bag and toss pork chop until thoroughly seasoned
4. Place pork chops in the baking dish
5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until pork chops reach an internal temperature of about 145 F
Green Beans
1. Turn stove top to medium-high heat
2. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into frying pan
3. Place green beans in pan, cover and let simmer for about 5 minutes each side
Quinoa
1. Turn stove top to high heat
2. Fill pot with 3 cups of water
3. Pour 2 cups of quinoa into pot when water is at a boil
4. Cover and let cook for 8 minutes
5. Let the quinoa sit for 5 minutes to soak up remaining water
